You may have seen the booklets that Charlotte placed in each of our three churches recently. They are published by our Diocese and cover nine days between Ascension Day and Pentecost Sunday with a reading, a reflection and a prayer. These nine days mirror the days the disciples spent waiting to realise their new commission.
The theme, appropriately enough, is vocation, the call to serve him that Father God makes on each of us. The reflections are not limited to ordained ministry alone. There are many ways of serving, and perhaps the reflections will help you think afresh about these things.
We have broken the booklet up for daily email posting to you, starting tomorrow. Please pray that as you read and reflect you may be challenged or affirmed in your calling.
